I see this is aimed at a particular person. I don't care who they are, but unless they were losing their mind accusing someone of stealing their art style, I think it is extreamly petty of you to publically shame them (and using the condescending 'honey' to make yourself look better) instead of approaching them to tell them this yourself.
I am appalled and disappointed that someone of your age would act this way.
?????? Ok first of all cut the "holier than thou" crap second, this was never EVER directed at anyone in particular?? I see so many people arguing over petty things like "copying" artstyles on instagram, facebook ect and its really tiring to see it. This is simply a vent for me. And im not publically shaming ANYONE Do you see a name up there? No. And i used the word HONEY because it was part of the fun. you obviously have never seen the meme or the joke related to this. Calm your titties, and take a joke. Im not in the mood to deal with people who jump to conclusions like you.
We are drawing ponies Based on a cartoon It's pretty obvious that some styles are gonna look alike. Especially as we are always influenced by the people we watch. It actually goesor everything, dog artists have similar styles, cat artists do, humans look like humans so yea h
the bottom line is if someone drew their art on their own - without un-rightfully tracing or referencing - then you don't have the right to dictate their style or otherwise accuse them of doing anything.
not legally no, but it's still kind of shitty to copy someone's style a style is like a signature, you work to make unique so when it's copied it's kind of ruining that. so I can understand when an artist gets upset about it.
Yes but there's no need to harass people about it honestly, it takes a lot to make a pony drawing super unique in style when a lot people draw the ears, for example, the same way just because something isn't illegal, doesn't mean you accuse someone of thievery when it's actually not thievery
